The incident occurred in Dutchess County on Thursday, Oct. 17, at the school on N. Park Drive.

According To New York State Police Trooper AJ Hicks, an investigation determined the threats were not credible, but a search of the building was conducted out of an abundance of caution.

No evidence of any safety threat was found. Further investigation led to the arrest of an 18-year-old student, Hicks said.

The 18-year-old was issued an appearance ticket for making a threat of mass harm and is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday, Nov. 6.
